The plants came in superb condition, promptly shipped and delivered. I am experimenting with them, because they are not typically sold in the Pacific Northwest and may not be ideal for this area; however, our summers (and winters) are getting hotter and drier, and we have recently been reclassified as zone 9. Looking forward to seeing how these do in my yard, thrilled to have an evergreen shrub that is fast-growing. I wil definitely shop from this seller again!
I was surprised at the size of the plants. This ceanothus is usually unavailable at nurseries in Northern Mendocino County even though it is a native. I planted them and they are visible. They are not the little staters that most of the 1-gallon California natives usually are. We have had heavy rain, so the ground is easy to dig. This is the best time of the year to plant our natives.
