Lomandra longifolia 'Breeze' (LM300), commonly known as Dwarf Mat Rush, is a versatile, evergreen perennial native to Australia, celebrated for its fine, bright green, arching foliage that forms graceful, rounded clumps. This grass-like plant typically reaches 2 to 3 feet in height and spreads 2 to 4 feet wide, making it an excellent choice for mass plantings, borders, and containers . In spring and summer, it produces small, fragrant yellow flower spikes nestled among the leaves . 'Breeze' thrives in full sun to partial shade and adapts well to a variety of soil types, including sandy and clay soils, provided they are well-draining . Once established, it is highly drought-tolerant and requires minimal maintenance, making it ideal for low-water landscapes . Hardy in USDA Zones 8–11, this plant is also deer-resistant and tolerant of coastal conditions .
