Myrtillocactus geometrizans, commonly known as the blue candle cactus, features upright, branching stems with a distinctive blue-gray hue. In its natural habitat, this species can reach heights of up to 15 feet. However, when cultivated in containers, it remains more compact. This cactus thrives in full sun to partial shade and requires minimal watering, making it ideal for xeriscaping and low-maintenance gardens. It is suitable for USDA Hardiness Zones 9b through 11.
