Senecio peregrinus “String of Dolphins” (also known as Curio × peregrinus) is a trailing succulent distinguished by its curving, dolphin-shaped leaves that cascade like a playful pod of leaping critters. It can trail up to 3 feet long, with foliage reaching around 6 inches tall. This plant thrives in bright, indirect light—with a few hours of gentle morning sun—and prefers well-draining cactus mix, allowing the soil to dry out fully between waterings. Under ideal conditions, it may bloom in spring or summer with small, white daisy-like flowers that have a delicate fragrance. It is hardy in USDA Zones 9b to 11b.
You will receive a plant similar to the one pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY. We do not ship internationally.
All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot. This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight. Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
