Red Hesperaloe (Hesperaloe parviflora), commonly known as Red Yucca, is an evergreen succulent featuring arching, sword-like green leaves with thread-like margins. It forms clumps 3 to 4 feet tall and wide, with flower stalks reaching 4 to 6 feet high. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, it is highly drought-tolerant and requires minimal maintenance. From late spring through summer, it produces tubular red to pink flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Ideal for xeriscaping, borders, and containers, this plant adds architectural interest to any landscape. Hardy in USDA Zones 5–11.
