Opuntia microdasys 'Funny Bunny' 4in

The Opuntia microdasys ‘Funny Bunny’, also known as the Bunny Ear Cactus, is a charming cactus with flat, rounded pads that resemble rabbit ears, covered in soft-looking white glochids instead of spines, giving it a unique and whimsical appearance. This compact cactus typically grows to 2–3 feet tall and 3–6 feet wide, forming a dense, eye-catching cluster over time. It thrives in full sun and requires very low water, making it perfect for xeriscaping, rock gardens, or container growing. In the right conditions, it blooms in late spring to early summer, producing bright yellow flowers that may be followed by small red-purple fruit. Its playful form and easy-care nature make it a standout choice for both indoor collections (with plenty of light) and outdoor desert landscapes. The ‘Funny Bunny’ is especially valued for its combination of low-maintenance growth and unique, decorative appeal. USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.

Smaller items may or may not be shipped within their nursery pots. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
