Myrtillocactus geometrizans, commonly known as the Blue Myrtle Cactus or Blue Candle, is a striking columnar cactus native to central and northern Mexico. It features blue-green, waxy stems with 5–8 prominent ribs, forming a candelabra-like structure as it matures. In optimal conditions, this fast-growing cactus can reach heights of 10–15 feet and widths up to 20 feet, making it a dramatic focal point in xeriscapes and desert gardens . Thriving in full sun, it prefers well-draining soil and requires minimal watering once established, making it ideal for low-maintenance landscapes. Hardy in USDA zones 9–11, it can tolerate temperatures down to 25°F (-4°C) for short periods .

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.
