Leucospermum 'Sunrise' 5g

The Leucospermum 'Sunrise', also known as a pincushion protea, is a striking evergreen shrub with leathery green leaves and large, round, spiky flower heads that look like glowing pincushions. This variety grows into a dense, rounded shrub reaching about 4–6 feet tall and wide, making it ideal as a statement piece in the landscape or as a cut-flower producer. It thrives in full sun with well-draining, slightly acidic soil and is naturally drought-tolerant once established, making it perfect for water-wise gardens. Blooming in spring and into early summer, it produces brilliant yellow-orange flowers with pinkish highlights, creating a sunrise-like effect that attracts pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. With its long-lasting blooms and minimal maintenance needs, this plant is excellent for coastal gardens, slopes, or containers. All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot. This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight. Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry.
