Leucospermum 'High Gold' 5g

The Leucospermum ‘High Gold’, also known as the pincushion protea, is a stunning evergreen shrub with dark green foliage and striking golden-yellow, spiky, pincushion-like blooms that make a bold statement in any garden or container. This variety can grow up to 4–6 feet tall and 4–6 feet wide, forming a rounded, bushy shape with excellent structure. It thrives in full sun and prefers well-draining, slightly acidic soil, requiring only low to moderate water once established, making it ideal for drought-tolerant and coastal gardens. Blooming heavily in spring through early summer, it produces large golden-yellow flower heads that are highly attractive to birds, bees, and butterflies, adding both beauty and ecological value. All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot. This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight. Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry.
