Leucadendron 'Red Gem' - 5 Gallon (GN)

Leucadendron ‘Red Gem’ is a compact evergreen shrub featuring slender mid‑green leaves tipped and edged in bronze-red, crowned in winter through spring by striking red bracts surrounding yellow cone-like flowers. This dense, bushy variety typically matures at 4–5 ft (1.2–1.5 m) tall and wide, forming a rounded, architectural habit perfect for specimen planting or container display. Ideal for warm-climate gardens, it thrives in full sun to part sun and performs best in well‑drained, acidic to sandy soil, with low to moderate water needs once established Hardy in USDA zones 9–11, it tolerates moderate frost (down to about 25 °F/−4 °C) and adapts well to coastal conditions, sandy or clay soils, heat, and drought with minimal care. All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot. This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight. Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry.
