Leucadendron 'Inca Gold' is a striking evergreen shrub featuring upright red stems topped with buttery yellow cone bracts surrounded by grey‑green foliage, forming a vibrant architectural accent. This dense specimen typically grows 4–6 ft (1.2–1.8 m) tall and wide, making it ideal as a statement plant, specimen bush, or hedge. Blooming from late winter into spring, its long-lasting bracts are excellent for cut‑flower arrangements with impressive vase life. It thrives in full sun, prefers well‑draining, acidic to neutral soil, and needs low to moderate water once established—drought tolerant and resistant to poor soils. Hardy in USDA zones 9a–11 (tolerating down to ~20–25 °F), it thrives in warm climates and coastal settings. Minimal pruning maintains shape, and it works beautifully in contemporary gardens, cut‑flower beds, or container displays.

Please note that the plant may or may not be in bloom when purchased. You will receive a similar or better plant as the one pictured. These are fully rooted plants. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY. We do not ship internationally.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot. This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight. Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry.
