The Kalanchoe beharensis 'Roseleaf', also known as Velvet Elephant Ear, is a striking succulent with large, triangular, velvety leaves edged in soft pink hues, giving it a sculptural and dramatic appearance. This slow-growing plant can reach up to 3–4 feet tall and 3–5 feet wide, making it a bold statement piece for indoor or outdoor spaces. It thrives in bright, indirect sunlight to full sun and requires well-draining soil with low water needs, making it ideal for succulent gardens or xeriscaping. While it may bloom infrequently in cultivation, it produces tall clusters of small, tubular flowers in shades of pink or reddish-orange under optimal conditions, usually in late winter to early spring. Its unique texture, architectural form, and drought tolerance make it a standout addition to any collection. The 'Roseleaf' Kalanchoe prefers warm temperatures and minimal frost exposure, adding both beauty and resilience to your plant display. USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.
