Echinocactus grusonii will bring a beautiful focal point to your garden. This Mexcian native is a slow-growing cactus that starts as a globe shape but becomes more barrel-shaped as it matures. The pale green single stem will grow to just over 3 ft tall and wide at maturity. After about 20 years, the crown will sprout yellow blossoms in summer. Like most cacti, they prefer full sun, well-draining soil, and only supplemental summer watering.
