Golden Barrel Cactus

The Grusonii Golden Barrel Cactus is a striking, globe-shaped cactus with bold, symmetrical ribs lined with dense clusters of bright golden-yellow spines. Over time, it can grow to 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide. This cactus thrives in full sun, requires very low water, and prefers sandy, well-draining soil, making it ideal for desert and drought-tolerant landscapes. In summer, mature plants produce small, yellow flowers that form a delicate crown at the top of the plant. Its impressive symmetry and glowing color make it a show-stopping specimen for rock gardens, containers, or xeriscapes. Best grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.

You will receive a plant similar to the one pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
