The Gasteria acinacifolia is a striking succulent known for its long, sword-shaped leaves that are deep green, often marked with subtle lighter spots, and arranged in a rosette pattern that gives it a bold architectural look. This species can grow impressively large for a Gasteria, reaching up to 24–36 inches tall and 24 inches wide, making it one of the largest in its genus. It thrives in bright, indirect light to partial shade, preferring well-draining soil and low to moderate water, making it easy to care for and highly drought-tolerant. During late spring to summer, it produces tall flower stalks with clusters of tubular, coral-pink and green flowers that attract pollinators and add vibrant seasonal color. Perfect for both containers and xeriscape gardens, it is a hardy, slow-growing plant that brings texture and elegance to any collection. USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.
