Ferocactus glaucescens inermis

Ferocactus glaucescens 'Inermis' – Rare Spineless Blue Barrel Cactus. Unlike most barrel cacti, the 'Inermis' form is nearly or completely spineless, allowing its gorgeous blue-gray skin to shine. Ferocactus glaucescens 'Inermis' is a rare form not commonly found in the wild, and even in cultivation, it's highly sought after by collectors. Full sun to partial shade — brighter light enhances its blue tones. Requires excellent drainage (gritty, sandy, or rocky mix) Very drought-tolerant; water sparingly. Can grow 12–18 inches tall and wide over time. Cold hardy to around 20–25°F (-4 to -6°C) with protection from long freezes.

You will receive a plant similar to the one pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot.  This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
