The Euphorbia trigona, also known as the African Milk Tree, is a striking succulent with upright, triangular green stems edged with spines and accented by small teardrop-shaped leaves that add texture and contrast. This architectural plant can reach 6–8 feet tall and about 2–3 feet wide when grown in the right conditions, making it an impressive statement piece indoors or outdoors. It thrives in full sun to bright indirect light, requires minimal water, and is highly tolerant of dry conditions, making it an easy-care choice for busy plant lovers. While this Euphorbia rarely blooms in cultivation, in ideal conditions it may produce small, inconspicuous white or yellow flowers, though its bold structure is the main attraction. Perfect for containers, patios, or modern landscapes, it adds height and sculptural appeal with little effort. This hardy succulent is best suited for warm climates and brings a dramatic desert look to any space. USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.
