The Euphorbia ingens, often called the Candelabra Tree, is a striking succulent tree with thick, columnar, green branches that form a candelabra-like shape, giving it a bold architectural presence in any landscape or container. In ideal conditions, it can grow impressively large, reaching up to 30–40 feet tall and 15–20 feet wide, though it remains much smaller when grown in pots. This hardy succulent thrives in full sun with very low water requirements, making it perfect for dry, arid, or desert-style gardens. During late fall to early winter, mature plants may produce clusters of small yellow-green flowers that add seasonal interest. Its unique form makes it a show-stopping specimen plant, especially in xeriscapes or modern landscapes where structure and low maintenance are desired. With excellent drought tolerance and minimal care needs, Euphorbia ingens is both resilient and eye-catching. USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.
