Euphorbia horrida var. noorsveldensis is a striking spiny succulent native to South Africa. This cactus-like plant features erect, cylindrical stems that are blue-grey to grey-green, often with white stripes, and adorned with formidable rows of reddish-brown spines. Mature plants can reach heights of up to 30 inches and widths of approximately 40 inches, forming tight clumps of upright columns. Thriving in full sun, this drought-tolerant species prefers well-drained, gritty substrates and requires minimal watering once established. During the summer months, it produces small greenish-yellow flowers. Euphorbia horrida var. noorsveldensis is suitable for USDA Hardiness Zones 9b to 11.

You will receive the exact plant pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot.  This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
