Echinopsis terscheckii 3g

Echinopsis terscheckii is a striking columnar cactus native to the arid regions of Argentina and Bolivia. It features light green stems with prominent ribs and clusters of yellow spines that can grow up to 4 inches long. In its natural habitat, this cactus can reach impressive heights of 32 to 49 feet with a diameter of up to 24 inches, though cultivated specimens are generally more modest in size. It produces large, white, funnel-shaped flowers that bloom in the evening during late spring and summer. Echinopsis terscheckii thrives in full sun and is highly drought-tolerant, requiring minimal watering once established. It is best suited for USDA Hardiness Zones 9b to 11.
