The Brachychiton rupestris, commonly known as the Queensland Bottle Tree, is a striking and unusual tree recognized for its bulbous, bottle-shaped trunk that stores water and its lush canopy of narrow, green leaves. In the right conditions, it can reach 30–60 feet tall and 20–30 feet wide, though it grows slowly and can be kept smaller in containers when young. This drought-tolerant tree thrives in full sun with minimal water needs once established, making it perfect for dry or arid landscapes. During the warmer months, it may produce clusters of small, creamy-yellow flowers, which add seasonal charm to its bold silhouette. With its unique trunk and hardy nature, it makes an excellent specimen tree for gardens, courtyards, or xeriscape designs. Best grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.

Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.
