Euphorbia obesa, commonly known as the Baseball Plant, is a distinctive, spherical succulent with a green-gray body adorned with horizontal stripes and typically eight vertical ridges. This slow-growing, unbranched plant reaches up to 8 inches in height and 4 inches in diameter, making it an excellent choice for small spaces or container gardening. Thriving in full sun to partial shade, Euphorbia obesa prefers well-draining soil and requires minimal watering, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. During the summer months, it produces small, inconspicuous flowers atop the plant; however, as a dioecious species, individual plants are either male or female. This succulent is well-suited for USDA Hardiness Zones 9 through 11, requiring protection from frost to ensure its health and longevity.

You will receive the exact plant pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot.  This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
