The Astroloba spiralis is a rare and eye-catching succulent known for its spiraling columns of firm, dark green triangular leaves that grow in a tight, geometric pattern along upright stems. This slow-growing plant can reach up to 12 inches tall and 4 inches wide, making it ideal for small pots, modern planters, or succulent arrangements. It thrives in bright indirect light to partial sun, requires very little water, and must be planted in well-draining soil to prevent root rot. During late summer to early fall, it may produce small, tubular white to pale green flowers on tall, slender stalks, though it's primarily grown for its stunning foliage. Drought-tolerant and easy to maintain, this succulent is perfect for collectors and low-maintenance plant lovers alike. Be sure to let the soil dry out completely between waterings and protect from frost. Best suited for USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.
