The Asparagus densiflorus ‘Myers’, also known as the Foxtail Fern, is a striking ornamental plant admired for its dense, feathery, needle-like foliage that grows in upright, plume-like clusters resembling fox tails. This evergreen perennial can reach up to 2–3 feet tall and about 3–4 feet wide, forming a full, lush mound that makes it ideal for containers, borders, or indoor décor. It thrives in full sun to partial shade, tolerates heat well, and requires only moderate watering once established, making it a low-maintenance choice for many gardeners. During the summer, it may produce small white flowers, which are sometimes followed by bright red berries that add an extra ornamental touch. Hardy and adaptable, this plant provides year-round texture and visual interest. Best grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.
