The Aloe ‘Rooikappie’ is a striking miniature aloe variety prized for its dense rosettes of fleshy green leaves adorned with small white spots and fine tooth-like edges. This charming succulent stays compact, typically reaching 8 to 10 inches tall and up to 12 inches wide, making it perfect for containers, rock gardens, or sunny windowsills. It thrives in full sun to partial shade, requires low water, and prefers well-draining soil for best growth. In winter through early spring, ‘Rooikappie’ bursts into bloom with clusters of vivid orange-red tubular flowers, attracting hummingbirds and pollinators. Its petite size and long-lasting flowers make it a showy addition to any succulent collection. Best grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.
