Aloe 'Big Mac' is an impressive shrubby hybrid—likely derived from Aloe maculata and Aloe arborescens—that forms dense clumps of broad rosettes, each up to 18 inches across, boasting pale green leaves spotted and tinted maroon when sun-stressed. The plant typically grows to around 4–5 ft tall and equally wide, creating a bold architectural statement in any garden or container. In spring, it produces striking dark red flower spikes that attract hummingbirds and other pollinators. This low-maintenance aloe thrives in full sun to light shade and prefers well-draining soil, making it ideal for xeriscapes and water-wise gardens. Once established, it needs only occasional summer watering and easily tolerates coastal conditions as well as inland heat. Hardy to roughly 25–30 °F (USDA Zones 9b–11), it can withstand light frost without issues . Evergreen, drought-tolerant, and easy to grow, Aloe 'Big Mac' makes a stunning centerpiece or habitat-enhancing border in Mediterranean-style landscapes

You will receive the exact plant pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot.  This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
