The Agave victoriae-reginae 'Porcupine' is a striking succulent renowned for its dense, dark green rosettes edged with sharp white margins, creating a spiky, porcupine-like appearance that captivates collectors and garden enthusiasts alike. This compact agave typically grows to 12–18 inches tall and 12–18 inches wide, making it ideal for container displays or small garden spaces. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and requires well-draining soil with minimal water, reflecting its drought-tolerant nature. Mature plants may produce a tall flower spike with creamy white blooms, usually after several years, though flowering is uncommon. Its architectural form, vivid color contrast, and strikingly pointed leaf tips make it a standout specimen in any succulent collection. The Agave victoriae-reginae 'Porcupine' is hardy in USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.
