Agave sebastiana, also known as Cedros Island Agave, is a striking evergreen succulent forming tight rosettes of greenish-blue, toothed leaves and often clustering into architectural clumps. It typically spans 3 to 5 feet wide and is hardy down to 20–25°F, making it suitable for low-water landscapes. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, this drought-tolerant agave blooms just once—usually after decades—with towering yellow flowers before the parent rosette dies, leaving new offsets in its place. Hardy in USDA Zones 9a to 11.
