The Agave ‘Quadricolor’, also known as the Variegated Century Plant, is a compact, eye-catching succulent featuring striking rosettes of sword-shaped leaves with green centers and creamy-yellow edges. Mature plants typically grow to about 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide, forming a symmetrical shape that makes them perfect for containers, rock gardens, or desert landscapes. This hardy agave thrives in full sun with well-draining soil and requires very little water, making it ideal for low-maintenance and drought-tolerant gardens. When mature, it sends up a tall flower spike that can reach over 10 feet high, adorned with yellow-green blooms that attract hummingbirds and pollinators. It’s a slow-growing and highly ornamental species prized for its vivid coloration year-round. Agave ‘Quadricolor’ is both heat and drought-tolerant, adding bold texture and color to any sunny garden. USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.
