The Agave ovatifolia 'Frosty Blue' is a stunning succulent known for its thick, smooth, frosty blue-gray leaves that form a symmetrical, rounded rosette, accented by dark terminal spines and subtle marginal teeth, giving it a modern, sculptural appeal. This elegant agave can grow up to 3–4 feet tall and 5–6 feet wide, making it a striking centerpiece in gardens, rockeries, or large containers. It thrives in full sun with well-draining soil and requires very low water once established, making it ideal for drought-tolerant and low-maintenance landscapes. Mature plants may eventually produce a flower spike up to 12 feet tall, bearing greenish-yellow blooms, after which the main rosette typically dies back but offsets may continue growth. Its combination of eye-catching color, bold form, and easy-care nature makes Agave ovatifolia 'Frosty Blue' a favorite among collectors and gardeners seeking a standout succulent. Best grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.
