Agave atrovirens - Maguey Verde Grande SH2

Agave atrovirens, known as Maguey Verde Grande, is a majestic barrel-style succulent featuring a dramatic rosette of thick green-bluish leaves edged with sharp spines. It forms a substantial clump typically 6 to 8 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide, showcasing its architectural presence. Thriving in full sun and gritty, well-drained soil, this low-maintenance agave is highly drought-resistant and only blooms once after many years, sending up an impressive yellow-reaching flower stalk—then resetting through offsets. Hardy in USDA Zones 9 to 11

You will receive the exact plant pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot.  This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
