Acorus gramineus 'Ogon' 1g

The Acorus gramineus 'Ogon', also known as Golden Variegated Sweet Flag, is a striking ornamental grass-like perennial prized for its arching, sword-shaped leaves striped in vibrant yellow and green, adding a bright splash of color to garden beds, borders, and containers. This slow-spreading, clump-forming plant typically grows to about 10–12 inches tall and can spread up to 12–18 inches wide, making it an excellent groundcover or edging plant. Acorus 'Ogon' thrives in partial shade to full sun and prefers consistently moist to wet soils, even tolerating shallow water at the edges of ponds or water features. While it rarely flowers, when it does, it produces small, inconspicuous greenish-yellow blooms in summer. Its vibrant foliage remains attractive year-round in mild climates, offering low-maintenance color and texture. Best grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 6–9.

Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry.
