The Acacia iteaphylla, commonly called the Flinders Range Wattle or Willow Wattle, is a graceful evergreen shrub known for its long, slender, blue-gray foliage that creates a soft, elegant look in the garden. This hardy plant typically grows 8–13 feet tall and about 10 feet wide, forming a dense, rounded habit that makes it ideal as a screen, hedge, or specimen plant. It thrives in full sun, requires low water once established, and is highly tolerant of poor soils and dry conditions, making it an excellent choice for drought-tolerant landscapes. Blooming from fall into early winter, it produces masses of fragrant, golden-yellow ball-shaped flowers that contrast beautifully with its foliage and attract pollinators. With its year-round beauty, easy care, and seasonal bursts of color, Acacia iteaphylla is a striking and resilient addition to any garden. Best grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 8–11.
