The Acacia convenyi, also called the Blue Bush Acacia, is a striking evergreen shrub or small tree recognized for its silvery-blue, feathery foliage that adds unique color and texture to the landscape. This fast-growing plant can reach 10–20 feet tall and 8–15 feet wide, forming a rounded, bushy shape that works beautifully as a specimen or screening plant. It thrives in full sun, requires low water once established, and is highly drought-tolerant, making it ideal for xeriscaping and dry gardens. In late winter to early spring, it bursts into bloom with clusters of golden-yellow, ball-shaped flowers that stand out against its cool-toned foliage and attract pollinators. Hardy, low-maintenance, and visually stunning, it’s an excellent choice for adding both structure and seasonal color to your garden. Best grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 8–11.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot. This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight. Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry.
