Fountain Grass (Pennisetum alopecuroides) is an elegant, clump-forming ornamental grass known for its graceful, arching green foliage and soft, bottlebrush-like flower spikes that emerge in late summer and persist into fall. Typically reaching 2 to 3 feet in both height and width, this perennial adds texture and movement to garden beds, borders, and containers. All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot. This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight. Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry.
