Aloe rupestris, also known as the Bottlebrush Aloe, is a striking, tree-like succulent featuring a single upright trunk topped with dense rosettes of long, narrow, gray-green leaves with slightly recurved, toothed edges. As it matures, it develops a tall, branching form that gives it a bold, architectural appearance in the landscape. This aloe can grow to about 10 to 15 feet tall, with some mature specimens reaching up to around 20 feet in ideal conditions. It thrives in full sun and well-draining soil, requiring low water once established and showing excellent drought tolerance. In late fall to winter, it produces tall, showy flower spikes with bright orange to reddish tubular blooms arranged in a dense, bottlebrush-like cluster that attracts birds and pollinators. Aloe rupestris performs best in warm, dry climates and is well-suited for xeriscaping and succulent gardens. It is hardy in USDA Hardiness Zones 9b through 11.

You will receive the exact plant pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot.  This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
