4-inch Small ‘Scarlet Ball Cactus’ | Parodia haselbergii

The Parodia haselbergii, also known as the Scarlet Ball Cactus, is a small, spherical cactus covered in dense white radial spines that give it a soft, fuzzy appearance. It typically stays compact, growing up to 4 inches tall and 4 inches wide, making it perfect for small pots, sunny windowsills, or decorative arrangements. This cactus thrives in bright indirect light to full sun, needs minimal watering, and prefers well-draining soil to prevent overwatering. In late spring through summer, it produces vivid scarlet-red flowers that create a striking contrast against its pale spines, often blooming in a ring near the crown. It’s well-suited for indoor or outdoor dry conditions and benefits from being kept dry during winter dormancy. You will receive a plant similar to the one pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

4-inch items may or may not be shipped within their nursery pots. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
