4-inch Notocactus schumannianus v. brevispinus

The Notocactus schumannianus v. brevispinus is a beautifully rounded cactus with a rich green body, pronounced vertical ribs, and notably short, fine spines. It stays relatively compact, typically growing up to 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide, making it ideal for containers, windowsills, or small succulent gardens. This cactus prefers full sun to bright indirect light, thrives on low water, and should be planted in well-draining soil to avoid root rot. In late spring to summer, it produces large, showy yellow flowers with a soft sheen, often blooming from the crown and adding a cheerful burst of color. It's easy to care for and well-suited to both beginners and collectors. Water deeply but infrequently during active growth and keep dry in cooler months. Best suited for USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.

You will receive a plant similar to the one pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

4-inch items may or may not be shipped within their nursery pots. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
