4-inch Matucana madisoniorum

The Matucana madisoniorum is a rare and eye-catching cactus known for its peculiar shape, often with few or no spines. This slow-growing cactus typically reaches up to 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide, making it an ideal choice for small pots or minimalist arrangements. It prefers bright indirect light to full sun, thrives in low water conditions, and requires well-draining soil to prevent moisture buildup. During late spring to summer, it produces stunning vibrant orange to red tubular flowers that contrast beautifully with its smooth surface. The blooms are large compared to the body and attract pollinators when grown outdoors. Water sparingly during the growing season and keep dry in winter. Best suited for USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.

You will receive a plant similar to the one pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

4-inch items may or may not be shipped within their nursery pots. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
