4-inch Gymnocalycium vatteri

The Gymnocalycium vatteri is a compact, globe-shaped cactus with a matte green to gray-green body and distinct, rounded ribs topped with random and sparse spines. It typically stays small, growing up to 3 inches tall and 4 inches wide, making it ideal for small containers, rock gardens, or indoor displays. This cactus thrives in bright indirect light to partial sun, prefers low water, and should be grown in well-draining soil to prevent root rot. In late spring to summer, it produces beautiful white to pale pink flowers with subtle darker stripes that bloom in contrast to its spiny base. It is low-maintenance and drought-tolerant, making it a great choice for beginners and collectors alike. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings and reduce watering in winter. Best suited for USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11.

You will receive a plant similar to the one pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

4-inch items may or may not be shipped within their nursery pots. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
