4-inch Echinocereus reichenbachii 'Lace Hedgehog Cactus'

Echinocereus reichenbachii, commonly known as the Lace Cactus or Purple Candle Cactus, features a cylindrical body densely covered in white spines that create a lacy, textured appearance. This cold-hardy cactus typically grows up to 12 inches tall and 4 inches wide, and often forms small clumps over time. It thrives in full sun, requires minimal water, and prefers well-draining, sandy or rocky soil for optimal health. In late spring to early summer, it puts on a spectacular floral display with large, vibrant pink to magenta flowers featuring a bright yellow center, often nearly as wide as the plant itself. It's a drought-tolerant species that does best with occasional deep watering during the growing season and dry conditions in winter. Perfect for xeriscaping, container gardens, or sunny windowsills. Best suited for USDA Hardiness Zones 5–10.

You will receive a plant similar to the one pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

4-inch items may or may not be shipped within their nursery pots. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
