Copiapoa hypogaea is a unique cactus renowned for its subterranean growth habit, featuring a green to grey globose stem measuring 1.2 to 2.8 inches (3 to 7 cm) in diameter, with 10 to 14 ribs divided into low, spiraled tubercles. Native to coastal regions near Chañaral in northern Chile, this cactus thrives in full sun and requires minimal watering, making it suitable for cultivation in USDA Hardiness Zones 9a to 11.
You will receive a plant similar to the one pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY. We do not ship internationally.
4-inch items may or may not be shipped within their nursery pots. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight. Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
