Ceanothus foliosus, commonly known as wavyleaf ceanothus, is an evergreen California native shrub with small, glossy, wavy-edged leaves and clusters of vibrant blue to lavender flowers. It typically grows 3 to 6 feet tall and spreads 4 to 8 feet wide, making it ideal for naturalistic landscapes or erosion control on slopes . Blooming in spring, its flowers attract pollinators like bees and butterflies. This drought-tolerant shrub thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soils. Once established, it requires minimal watering and is well-suited for dry, rocky, or sandy sites. Hardy in USDA Zones 7 to 10.

You will receive a plant similar to the one pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot.  This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
