Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is a fragrant evergreen shrub with narrow, needle-like, dark green leaves and small, tubular flowers in shades of blue, purple, or white. It typically grows 2 to 6 feet tall and 2 to 4 feet wide, making it suitable for hedges, borders, or container gardens. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, rosemary is drought-tolerant and prefers low to moderate watering. It blooms from late winter through spring, attracting bees and butterflies with its aromatic flowers. Hardy in USDA Zones 7 to 11, rosemary is a versatile addition to both culinary and ornamental gardens.
