Japanese Boxwood (Buxus microphylla var. japonica) is a compact evergreen shrub featuring small, glossy green leaves and a dense, mounding habit. It typically grows 3 to 5 feet tall and wide, making it ideal for low hedges, borders, or topiary. This slow-growing plant thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil. It produces small, cream-colored flowers in spring, though they are not particularly showy. Japanese Boxwood is hardy in USDA Zones 6 to 9.

Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight. Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
