The Crossberry (Grewia occidentalis), also known as Lavender Star Flower, is a fast-growing evergreen shrub or small tree adorned with glossy, dark green leaves and striking star-shaped flowers in shades of purple to pink. It typically reaches 6 to 10 feet in height and width, forming a dense, rounded shape. Thriving in full sun to partial shade, it prefers well-drained soil and moderate watering. Blooming from spring through summer, its vibrant flowers attract butterflies and bees, followed by shiny reddish-brown, four-lobed berries that persist into fall. This versatile plant is ideal for hedges, borders, containers, or as a specimen tree. Hardy in USDA Zones 9–11.

You will receive a plant similar to the one pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot.  This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry. Succulents are very hardy and will rebound easily with proper care.
