Cotoneaster is a versatile, low-maintenance shrub known for its glossy green leaves, delicate white or pink spring flowers, and bright red berries that persist into winter. Depending on the variety, it can range from a compact groundcover at 1 foot tall and 6 feet wide to upright forms reaching 6 feet tall and wide. Thriving in full sun to partial shade, Cotoneaster prefers well-drained soil and is drought-tolerant once established. Its spring blooms attract pollinators, while the vibrant berries provide visual interest and food for birds through the colder months. Hardy in USDA Zones 5–8.

Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.
