The Chitalpa tree is a fast-growing deciduous hybrid known for its lush green foliage and extended bloom season. It typically reaches 20 to 35 feet in height and width, forming a rounded canopy ideal for shade or ornamental use. From late spring through fall, it produces abundant trumpet-shaped flowers in shades of pink, white, or pale lavender, attracting hummingbirds and pollinators. Thriving in full sun with well-drained soil, the Chitalpa is drought-tolerant once established but benefits from occasional watering. This low-maintenance tree is well-suited for USDA Hardiness Zones 6 to 11.

You will receive a plant similar to the one pictured, it is a fully rooted plant. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail within the United States and its outlying territories ONLY.  We do not ship internationally.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root and without their original nursery pot.  This is done both to protect the plant and to reduce shipping expenses. We pack our products by hand and take great care to ensure they arrive at their final destination safely. Upon receiving your plants, make sure to remove them from their packaging immediately, repot them using dry soil, and provide ample sunlight.  Water as needed, making sure to water again only when the soil is completely dry.
