Eremophila glabra, commonly known as Emu Bush, is a hardy evergreen shrub native to Australia, celebrated for its silvery-green foliage and tubular flowers that range in color from red and orange to yellow. Depending on the variety, it typically grows between 1 to 6 feet tall and can spread up to 6 feet wide, making it suitable for ground covers, borders, or low hedges. This drought-tolerant plant thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, requiring minimal water once established. Blooming primarily from late winter through summer, its vibrant flowers attract hummingbirds and other pollinators. Eremophila glabra is hardy in USDA Zones 9 to 11.
